Our Story

Work on Teamed began in 2022 by University of Oklahoma sophomores Cameron Kwong-Murphy and Arjun Sachdeva, who both are from Frisco, Texas.

Cameron has always had a love for sports photography, however, relying on social media apps to find freelance work always came with issues, whether it was just finding opportunities in general, or getting paid on time. After a blistering Texas summer day on which Cameron drove an hour to shoot photos for an athlete, only for the client to never show up, he began to think: why doesn’t a platform made for a secure athlete-creative connection exist?

After telling this to his close friend and high school football player/boxer Arjun Sachdeva, he echoed back the same question, only this time from the perspective of an athlete. Whether to get noticed by recruiters more in high school, or gain followers to secure NIL deals in college, there was a large need for this solution from athletes as well. It was in this moment that the two realized the need for Teamed, a platform giving independent sports creatives more reliable work, and athletes a way to build their brands with social media content.

Cameron and Arjun took their idea to the OU Startup Program, where they continue to build their idea as 20-year-old students.
